Lake Marion is the largest
lake in the state in South Carolina at 110,000 acres in size:
Calhoun, Clarendon, Orangeburg, and Sumter. Clarendon County covers
the most miles of shoreline of Lake Marion . This legendary lake was
created during the early 1940's and has become a recreational
paradise. People come from all over the United States to visit this
lake. The Cypress trees combined with the swampy wilderness add a
